The annual DECI (DEISA Extreme Computing Initiative) call for
proposals of the European supercomputing infrastructure DEISA will
open in May. The purpose of DECI is to identify, enable, deploy, and
operate selected computationally demanding or data intensive
applications in selected areas of science and technology. The
deadline for the proposals is June 30.
DEISA is an EU funded distributed supercomputing environment
encompassing 11 of Europe’s supercomputers. It deploys and operates a
number of
services that enable the cooperative operation of all the national
leading supercomputing platforms, and the high performance access to
remote data repositories. The DEISA infrastructure's aggregated
computing power is close to 190 Teraflops.
More information on the DECI call will be available at http://www.deisa.org/applications/ |
